The goal of this petition is to force the Obama Administration to sign an executive order to limit access to automatic & semi-automatic weapons, and high-capacity magazines. The healthy and safety of the United States of America has proven to be in jeopardy. Adults and children, are being murdered by assault weapons at schools, malls and the movies.
While underlying causes, such as mental health, also need to be addressed, swift action must be taken now to control these weapons to reduce the likelihood of the tragedies we have faced. Therefore, the President must take immediate action, under the powers vested in him by the U.S.Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, to control these weapons to protect our People until a long-term Bipartisan measure can be enacted
