The online IM and communication program Skype has been using the close button "X" as a minimize button "-" for years. It is time that they finally abide by general user standards. Sign an executive order requiring the software owners and developers to make the X actually close the program, or at the bare minimum close to that notification area, rather than constantly being on the task bar.
There is a reason there is a minimize button in windows, and it is not so that you can make the close button function just like the minimize button. The gross oversight and ignorance of user requests to change this must be corrected.
