Enact By Executive Order Mandatory Jury Trials for Police Officers Who Kill Someone in the Line of Duty

Created by T.S. on December 04, 2014

Concerned citizens of the United States are pushing for federal executive legislation to make it mandatory for a police officer to be suspended without pay, and go to trial for ANY police action that results in death. This request is being made on the behalf of the thousands of Americans who have died at the hands of police officers nationwide, and on behalf of the people who love them.

The requirement for a mandatory trial should be met, regardless of how a citizen dies: car chase, a choke hold, gun shot, etc. In doing so officers will THINK before they risk their livelihood and their future. The new initiatives for body cameras President Obama set forth, will help support this measure, the police, and the communities they serve.
