We the people understand that taxes are a necessary evil in order to fund the limited duties of government. However, current tax law is written in such a way as to direct the tax burden from the corporations and wealthy and towards the middle class. We believe that corporate loopholes and subsidies should be eliminated and the tax rates for individual taxpayers reduced.
We ask the Obama Administration to work with Congress to enact tax reform that eliminates these unfair corporate welfare tax codes and lowers the tax burden on the working poor and middle class.
