The people of The United States request that you look into enacting a federal law that prohibits any member of Congress to vote to give themselves a pay raise. In no other position in the United States government is this permitted. Federal tax dollars are used to pay the salaries of the members of Congress. If a pay raise is to be considered for members of Congress, it needs to be voted on via a national vote. This will prevent members of Congress from simply occupying a position for financial gain and title. It will also save some tax dollars that can be dispersed to other federal programs.
