Enact federal law to prohibit the release of substances known or suspected to be life damaging to the environment.

Daily we learn of harmful substances (solid, liquid, or gaseous) being released to our environment that are dangerous to ourselves, animals, and/or plants. There are masses of floating plastics killing our marine life, our ground waters are contaminated with fertilizer runoff, waste dumping, and mining contaminants. We must begin by ceasing to release further contamination, finding means to contain these substances and render them harmless to ourselves, our stock and wildlife, our waters, and our air.
