Enact Federal Law which waives a person's 4th amendment rights after multiple convictions of drug related offenses.

Created by R.W. on November 14, 2012

This petition is an attempt to enact Federal Legislation to enhance penalties for illegal drug possession. Upon conviction of second drug related offense, the violator would be required to waive his/her fourth amendment rights (protection from unlawful search and seizure without probable cause) for a given period (10 years, as an example). Upon a fourth conviction within 10 years, a waiver of the violators fourth amendment rights may be imposed for life. This waiver would automatically apply at sentencing. A similar act already in practice today includes the waiver of a person's right to bear arms upon conviction for a felony offense. Drug offenses are a growing epidemic and tough action is needed to help law enforcement take repeat offenders off your streets!
