Enact federal legislation to meaningfully adopt the International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes.

Created by R.M. on August 19, 2014

Formula companies use unethical practices to confuse mothers and families and equate baby formula to breastfeeding or mother's milk especially to vulnerable populations.

The US has not meaningfully adopted the WHO's International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and has not enacted laws to protect consumers from these unethical and damaging business practices by powerful formula companies.
