The purpose of this petition is to enact strict ammunition control. A gun has never killed anyone - only the bullets. If we had state or federal run ammunition stores, like state run liquor stores in some states, the distribution of bullets would be controlled to lawful gun owners. Guns that need bullets would then need to be registered. Bullets would only go to registered guns. Guns that never are shot would not need to be registered. The amount of ammo distributed would be based on need. Gun ranges could also supply ammo to be used at the range and no more.
