Enact gun control. With over 12,000 deaths this year already, gun violence is a major issue and must be addressed.

Gun violence has killed over 12,000 people this year in the United States. Mass shootings are occuring more frequently. Americans should not fear going to the movie theatre, going to public places, and should not have to walk around with a firearm to feel safe. The NRA has blocked meaningful discussions on the issue but gun violence needs to be discussed and addressed.
Mandatory backround checks on all firearm purchases, limiting magazine sizes, banning assault rifles, and periodic renewal of firearm licences are a good start.
