Ammunition Control: Since stricter gun control laws will not touch the thousands of illegal guns that are currently in the hands of criminals, we should take immediate action to make these guns virtually useless to the criminal, by enacting strict Ammunition controls. There should be an application , a waiting period and a background check (including household members) to purchase ammo and the ingredients to make ammo. These rules should apply to ALL sales of ammo including large supply chains, dealers, and gun shows and internet sales. There is no 2nd Amendment right regarding ammo.
