Innocent Eyes will protect children from direct harm associated with dangerous criminal activity, keep our children from viewing criminal activity and ultimately relieve them from the long term psychological trauma associated with viewing violent criminal acts.
Innocent Eyes will be a Federal criminal charge to anyone who commits and/or charged with:
any misdemeanor or felony violent crime
any misdemeanor or felony drug related charge
any felony
within direct eyesight of a minor;
or
any time a minor is used in part of a conspiracy or as an accessory to a crime;
or
any time a minor is the intended target of a violent crime.
Simply put, it will be a crime to commit a violent act in front of a child, use a minor as an accessory in any crime or attempt to use violence against a child.
