The Interracial Crime Enhancement Act of 2014 provides penalties for individuals committing crimes of violence (assault, rape, manslaughter, murder) against individuals of different racial origins or ethnicities. Individuals convicted of a violent crime against an individual of another race or ethnicity would have their sentence doubled for the racial factor in the crime. Conspirators involved in group attacks would receive equal sentences regardless of age or gender upon conviction. Race or ethnicity would be determined based on census data, birth certificate or other official document.
