Enact the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995

Created by M.C. on November 15, 2012

In 1995 the Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act which stated:
"Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel; and the United States Embassy in Israel should be established in Jerusalem"
the Bill allows the President, every six months to wave the implementation of this act, and Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama have used these waivers. We would like the end of these waivers and the US State Department to start closing the US embassy in Tel Aviv and its relocation to the Israeli Capital, Jerusalem. It is unfair and insulting to have an embassy outside a state's capital and Israel is suppose to be a close ally.
