Enact a law to ensure basic human rights for workers around the world

Created by M.M. on January 10, 2014

United states is the number one economy in the world. In a globalized economy, workers from different parts of the world are increasingly becoming dependent on our nation. This economic dependence leads to exploitation, unfair treatment, compromise of environment and safety, and human rights violation. The disasters at Bangladesh clothe factories, and the riots and pollution at Chinese factories exemplifies this.
I request Mr. President to enact a law requiring the direct economic participants providing services and/or selling products in our nation to ensure basic human rights, safe working conditions, and fair pay at their providers.
All men are created equal around the world. Let us lead the way to end the indirect enslavement. Let us work for a fair and balanced world.
