This is a petition to stop the use of the Senate/House floors to disseminate deliberate lies to the American people. This practice is widespread and does a disservice to the country. Such lies affect public opinion and may affect the outcome congressional votes and elections. Lying to the people is an offense that should be strongly dealt with.
