The key part of the Second Amendment, "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed," leaves no room for interpretation. We, as a free people, have the God given right to defend our families and ourselves any way we see fit from thugs, murderers, and abusive government. More laws and more regulation will only affect the law-abiding citizens who will follow them, not the criminals who choose to break the law. Gun owners in America should not be judged by the actions of a handful of evil doers. The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. We can only hope and pray the next mass shooter is met by an equally determined law-abiding, Second Amendment believing citizen before he can inflict more carnage. Shall not be infringed!!! Period.
