Enact a law that removes each and every member of Congress when they fail to follow the Constitution.

Created by L.M. on October 19, 2013

Too many times in recent years has Congress failed to do the most important task which is specifically assigned to them by the US Constitution. The most recent government closure and near default has placed unnecessary strain on the economy, reuined our reputation throughout the world and jeopordized our good standing as the world's leading economy.

If members of Congress fail to enact a legitimate, budget before the fiscal year starts without having to include postponed deadlines, all sitting members should immediately be removed from office and completely forfeit their benefits for failing to uphold the Constitution.

All members of Congress who are removed from office for violating the Constitution should not be paid and should not rate any benefits they would otherwise be entitled.
