This is a petition to require that anyone in the United States who wishes to purchase or otherwise obtain a firearm or ammunition be required to submit to and pass a psychological evaluation. This is to ensure that the power to take a life remains in the hands of those who will use it for peaceful purposes, such as hunting or personal protection.
