To enact a law, known as the "Responsible Spending and Accountability of Government Assistance Act "
It should make illegal:
-ATM welfare cards that allow recipients to receive cash.
-The purchase, by welfare or food stamp recipients, of alcohol, tobacco, jewelry, expensive clothing, home/vehicle upgrades, movie or amusement park tickets, non-emergency travel, tv's, adult entertainment, or other recreational equipment and/or services.
-Pay should not increase for children born while parents are on welfare. If you can't afford the kids you have, you don't get rewarded for having more.
-Trading or selling food stamp credits or welfare credit cards.
The law should mandate:
-Drug testing
-Education or Job search requirements, and assistance.
-Time limits on welfare, except for the disabled
