We can't afford to take away anymore funds from the educational system. It is harming our kids and it is harming our future. We need to have our children properly educated so that they can become competitive workers in the future.
With funds constantly being taken away, the student to faculty ratio goes up, it is harder for one on one learning for the students, and we as a nation become less competitive in this global interconnected world. We need more engineers and highly educated individuals and a decline in state funding will result in higher tuition which makes it harder for the kids to be properly educated.
We need to enact a law to prevent anymore funds from being redirected from education and ensure that funds towards the educational system increase at the same rate as inflation.
