Created in order to protect the American worker against the threat of "a case of the Mondays". Whether your a CEO of a multi billion dollar company, or a fast food restaurant employee, one undeniable truth exists, Mondays are the worst day of the week.
We petition that in order to combat this clear and present danger, that the US Department of Labor enact some immediate changes to worker rights.
First, an immediate stoppage to working a full day every Monday. Mandatory half days should replace the current policy. Secondly, these half day hours should be at the workers discretion, and need to be scheduled in advance. Third, time and a half policy should be implemented for those workers who graciously work eight plus hours on any given Monday, this time shall not be cut at weeks end.
