I am requesting congress act upon this issue because the recreational use of marijuana has been legalized in multiple states and has multiple positive effects. Also legalizing the recreational use of marijuana will lower the need for drug distributors, therefore decreasing crime. The legalization of marijuana will also bring in more tax revenue for the state and the country.
