enact legislation barring Republican politicians from using public restroom facilities of any gender.

Both parties have long claimed that this country over-legislates. The recent example of North Carolina's transgender bathroom law is a case in point. No transgender person has ever been convicted of lewd or illegal behavior in a public bathroom, so why the law?
On the other hand, at least 3 Republican politicians HAVE been convicted of lewd and criminal behavior in public bathrooms (Larry Craig, Jon Hinson, and Bob Allen). Here we have ACTUAL crime, and a need to protect the public from such criminals.
Therefore, I petition that the United States Government make it illegal for Republican politicians to use bathrooms of any gender, to better protect our citizens from the real dangers they represent.
