Enact legislation to end the unfair wage practices in the U.S. by tying maximum wages to minimum wages.

The average person among the top 1% of wage earners in the United States currently makes an average of $1,300,000 per year. This is roughly 419% higher than the average $31,000 per year made by the other 99% of wage earners. The average wage for the 99% has not changed in any meaningful way since 1980, when the average wage of the top 1% was $400,000. This represents an increase of over 69% in upper 1% wages versus a 0% increase for everyone else combined. This shows that there is systemic injustice in the way that wealth is distributed in our country. I suggest a law requiring that no person at a company may make more than 15 times, in total compensation, the amount that the lowest paid worker at that company makes. This would effectively create pay equality among workers in the U.S.
