Enact legislation to get voter approval for congressional and senate pay raises.

Created by J.A. on November 10, 2011

The US congress and senate can enact pay raises for themselves without getting approval from the American people. In a time where we have budget crunches and we are seeing unemployed public servants we still have Congressmen and senators enacting pay raises at the expense of the people that they represent. This should be curbed by the legislation needing approvement from the American people and thus only appearing on the ballot during national election.
