Service in the United States government was once a privilege. Citizens undertook this solemn responsibility for representation and stewardship of their fellow men and women as well as their land out of a desire to serve and ensure the longevity of this great nation. They used their knowledge and experience to accurately and responsibly represent in government. Upon completion of their service they returned home to family and career, passing the torch to the next leaders.
Today's government is a mockery made of "professional politicians" who waste time worrying about reelection and have no experience outside a "career" in politics.
The President cannot monopolize power through a two-term limit. The same restriction should be placed upon the elected officials of the Senate and the House.
