Some States have enacted or are considering enactment of laws which require State Identification Cards in order to vote. This action causes many thousands of voters to lose their Constitutional Right to vote by making it extremely difficult to either gain an ID or to get to a location where IDs are made available. In some instances the simple cost of an ID is a deterrent.
