It makes environmental sense that we are moving toward alternative fuels in the US. Climate change is gradually becoming evident, and the coming surge of internal-combustion powered vehicles in the world as countries such as China and India industrialize will only make fossil fuels more scarce and expensive.
Adoption of EVs, or Electric Vehicles, is hampered by current fuel delivery infrastructure, or lack thereof. For a cost of approximately $2,000 per site or less as economies of scale lower prices, each and every fuel station could install a single electric vehicle quick-charge station. If US drivers trust that they can find charging stations more readily, they are more likely to embrace EVs, and the energy, manufacturing, and transportation sectors, as well as jobs, will flourish!
