All too often, violent gun crimes are committed by legal gun owners, just as by illegal gun carriers. We feel that it is imperative that legal gun owners/carriers should be required to undergo a psycholgical evaluation every six (6) months to one (1) year, to determine if said individuals are still of sound mind to possess and carry a firearm. We feel that such legislature being carried out may possibly send a flag to mental health professionals that a person may no longer, at least for a period of time, be fit to carry a firearm.
