Enact legislation so that members of congress and senate are paid the minimum wage of their state on a forty hour week.

Let us bring congress back down to reality by making them survive on the minimum wage of their state. Let us enable them a salary based on their states minimum wage at full time status. We the people, by the people, of the people means we are governed by our peers not by those that have near "royal" status and not by those that make two to three times as much as the common man.
