The United States Congress has time and again shown they value the interests of corporations, donors, and their parties above the interests of the American people. Members of congress failed to enact policies that protect American workers and our economy. Congress has failed to enact policies that protect our homeland. Congress and the justice department has failed to hold banks, CEOs, and major financial institutions accountable and criminally liable for the housing market and economic meltdown. Congress and repeatedly passed laws that directly benefit their own salaries and benefit packages.
It's time to put a stop to the destruction of the American economy and middle class. It's time to hold the United States Congress accountable for its track record of incompetence and corruption.
