enact martial law in areas of heavy rioting, in order to protect peaceful protesters, police officers, businesses, etc

This petitions is to subdue illegal and unjustified rioting. By rioting people do not realize, but they are destroying the local economy, businesses, putting lives at risk and destroying peace. By enacting martial law to subdue violent protesters and rioters, you protect those caught in the middle trying to actually bring about peace. Peaceful protesters and workers trying to bring about change should be protected. Firemen and police officers should be protected. local businesses and buildings shouldn't be destroyed because of ignorance and group rage. Rioters are nothing, but acts of destruction fueled not by the want for change, but instead lead by their anger. As a soldier if it means that I have to point my weapon at a destructive few to protect peace and citizens, well that is my job.
