AR-15 Ban won’t work , nuts will migrate to another semi-auto platform, if you recall AK47s were the weapon of choice several years ago. 10 round magazines won’t work because it will be a slight inconvenience for a nut to change magazines more often. Ban all repeating firearms and magazines allowing only onboard magazines that hold 6 rounds and a four position actuation and single shot. Only bolt action and single shot firearms permissible. Require buyback of banned weapons, and have stiff criminal penalties. If you can’t do this, leave it at enhanced background checks and reduced capacity magazines. Also note rifles are not the main problem pistols are, you must get pistols off the street. Additionally, I am a former Marine and I own weapons that I would need to turn if enacted.
