Minimum standards in energy production should be enacted to reach a 100% compliance by the year 2050. Renewables produce energy without releasing greenhouse effect gases (GHG), making them an indispensable ally in the fight against climate change. Renewables are the opposite of fossil fuels in that they are in continuous resupply. Renewables are not a project for the future or an experiment, they are already a reality and production from them should not be limited to small percentages of overall power sales.
