The Obama administration needs to revisit the HAMP and HARP guidelines for qualification and enact new laws that force lenders to review applications in a timely manner and hold them financially accountable for violation of this law. Currently many Americans find themselves frustrated with this legislation since it rarely helps anyone in danger of foreclosure. Statistics show that most lenders are not willing to work with homeowners. Some borrowers have even been defrauded into taking loans that were only benificial to the lender and the originator.
