Enact a National Voting Day for Election Years

Created by A.A. on July 14, 2014

A National Holiday that would allow people to have the day or half a day off to for them to cast a vote for the general election. Voter turn out in the U.S. was only 60% of eligible voters in 2012. With a National Voting Day, every American will not have an excuse of why they didn't vote. Let's stand up for our right's and make sure every last American of voting age has the ability to cast their ballot.
