The professional news media are banned from using, linking to, or sharing the name, image, or likeness of any identified perpetrator of mass violence involving the killing or wounding of three or more persons for a period of eighteen (18) months after the incident. The media may profile the individual, but only law enforcement, the courts, the families, and those directly involved with the case will know the perpetrator's name, image, or likeness during the period of the ban.
