The people of the United States of America are fortunate to live in a society where we can express our various opinions and concerns freely. That said, certain powers that be wish to restrict our ability to enact our 1st Amendment rights by making unlawful, speech which may be inflammatory to certain religious groups. Being a free nation, no powers should have authority to restrain freedom of speech, that being our right as American citizens to express ourselves and our opinions as we so choose. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Written statements that are not defined as libel, (and/or) televised, recorded, or vocalized statements that are not defined as slander.
- Works of parody intended to mock beliefs and practices that are protected by the 1st Amendment.
