In light of recent events, promoting an Open Carry law for every citizen of legal age to purchase a firearm will decrease the chances of such tragedies from occurring ever again. If just one teacher was armed yesterday, and during Columbine, the body count would've never been this high. The police cannot be everywhere to prevent such atrocities from happening, and the 2nd Amendment gives us the right to defend ourselves fro any and ALL threats, and that should also include anywhere we may be.
