We are the last country on earth that still uses the out of date and inaccurate Imperial system of measurements. All science is taught in Metric and the entire world operates on the metric standard.
As the "Leader" of the free world, it is rather shameful that we are still using a confusing, outdated measuring system.
Accuracy is increased when using the metric system, time is saved because all units are divisible by 10 and not 8's and other abnormal numbers.
It's more convenient, easier to process, saves time and will save money as people don't make mistakes converting and over estimating.
It's time for America to catch up with the world. Metric should be the standard.
