Police reform is crucial to maintain civil society.
Police abuse continues to happen and is changing the fabric of our society. Respect is earned and not given; as the situation continues, the image of the police will change from one of safety and protection to one of abuse and fear.
Same as when criminals are investigated, so should the police officers involved in abuse cases. There needs to be an independent organization capable of reviewing the facts and enforcing judgment. A transparent unbiased party will help restore the faith the American people have in our selfless giving protectors who keep us safe.
