Cannabis not only doesn't harm people but it has never once taken a single life, it could be used in many ways that differ from medicinal use such as fixing the economy. If taxed it could make money while helping those who need it. Cannabis has been proven to help many mental and medical issues (for example: various types of cancer). The federal laws (and state laws in Texas) for the use and possession of marijuana are ridiculous on the grounds that it hasn't ever harmed anyone while alcohol is dangerous and remains legal. Not only that, the legalization of marijuana would decrease the crime rates that are caused by association, along with saving the money spent on the search and imprisonment of people for the use and possession of marijuana.
