Enact a protocol for police agencies to enforce the law in a peaceful & passive manner rather than preemptive policing.

Created by N.N. on April 29, 2015

Since Rodney King in 1991 there has been exponential increases in videotaped evidence of police intimidation, brutality and general abuse of power.

We believe the increased exposure to these abuses are related to the rise in the prevelance of video recording devices in the hands of citizens.

We ask for a protocol of passive policing as opposed to preemptive investigation. Police officers should respond to any incident in which the law is breached but should not "look" for infractions and violations.

Police officers are NOT authority figures to whom we must obey but rather servants of the citizens who pay their salaries and are charged with their protection as opposed to their oppression.

Citizens are subject to the law alone not to an officer for the fact alone they are an officer.
