In the wake of yet another mass shooting American's are struggling to cope with the loss of our fellow citizens. We are weary of the continued struggle against gun violence. In a free country everyone should be able to enjoy life without the fear of life or limb due to gun violence. The common denominator in all gun violence is mental illness. American's are desperate for change. We desire a future where we can go to a movie theater, school, night club, or place of worship without wondering in the back of our minds whether the venue we choose to visit will become a target of another shooter. We the People respectfully request Congress to unite and fight mental illness by expanding mental health care access to all American's.
