We request that the Obama Administration use all means at their disposal to create responsible gun control legislation. If this cannot be done through Congress, then we request that the President use his executive powers to do so, up to and including the reclassification of assault weapons and high-capacity clips as military grade weapons.
America has more school shootings than the entire rest of the world combined. These tragedies must stop, and if gun control has even a chance of reducing them, then we must embrace it.
