It is my belief that such an act would be the most fair approach possible to the debate of 2nd Amendment “right to bear arms” versus the current firearm violence epidemic in our country.
In my opinion this act would allow federal oversight and tracking of firearm license holders and owners. It would create a nationwide system of qualification ensuring uniform and standard requirements. It would also create revenue and jobs to stimulate the economy during our current fiscal crisis.
