Ask Congress and the Obama Administration to repeal the Affordable Care Act and enact a Single-Payer healthcare system in the United States. This bill should combine Medicare and Medicaid as well as expand them.
As it states in the Preamble, our Constitution was created in part to, "promote the general welfare...to ourselves and our posterity," which includes our health and well-being and our future generations' health and well-being. Good healthcare is our right as citizens of the United States and should not be for profit.
It is time we followed the lead of the rest of the developed world on this issue.
