Enact standard identification requirements for minors using air travel to prevent child abduction.

There should be an overarching policy for identification requirements for minors using air travel. As of now, airlines decide their own requirements for minors' identification, with some only requiring proof of age for child priced tickets. There should be a greater concern for the child's safety and ensuring they are traveling with a legal guardian or family member with consent from the guardian. Children do not have a voice of their own and are unlikely to seek help when in a threatening situation due to fear. The government should enforce a policy to verify the identity of the child and his/her relationship with the accompanying adult. This could be done via a TSA Identification Policy requiring a birth certificate or government-issued ID for all minors using air travel.
