Enact stronger legislation to protect the rights and privileges of the American disabled community.

Created by F.T. on May 05, 2012

I want to see President Obama, or his successors enact more protective and strongly worded legislation that will strengthen and broaden the rights and privileges of those of us in America that are disabled and unable to forge a path that those who are able-bodied have the ability to forge.

We need stronger penalties for those who discriminate and harm (whether phyisically or mentally) the disabled citizens of this great nation.

We especially need better protections regarding enforcement of handicapped parking laws as well as ADA laws that require businesses to transform their establishments to be more disability friendly.
